In August 2007 Dr Barry Bacon from Colville, WA. coordinated a medical mission trip to Malawi, Africa.  About 20 people from Colville met 6 other people for a 2 week mission which included medical work in small villages around Ncheu, Malawi on the Mozambique border as well as a project to refurbish and re-roof the medical clinic at the Lakeview college campus.
